Bear Electric Shock Mat Drive Over
This Electric Bear Shock Mat consists of an isolation base with a galvanized metal conductive top surface. When a bear approaches and steps on the mat with a front paw its rear paws are still in contact with the ground which with effective earth ground return will complete the circuit and deliver the safe but sharp shock from the fence energizer to the bear. In conditions with very poor earth ground conductivity etc. dry gravel sandy soil, pavement or concrete road surfaces an additional grounded plate can be provided, this provides a grounded surface before the mats to assure a full shock is delivered when both surface contacts are made.
This system is an ideal solution for bear seasonal use where gate access is not a practical solution for traffic coming and going.
