Bear Mat Drive Over Electrified 16ft wide

This Electric Bear Mat consists of 2 x 8x4ft high density polymer base to isolate the metal conductive top surface.  When a bear approaches and steps on the mat with a front paw its rear paws are still in contact with the ground which with effective earth ground return will complete the circuit and deliver the safe but sharp shock from the fence energizer to the bear. In conditions with poor earth ground conductivity etc. dry gravel sandy soil,  pavement or concrete road surfaces a positive negative mat is recommend. For this we split the conductive top surfaces so that there is a positive then a negative surface so when contact is made with each surface a shock is assured to be delivered.
