In Canada All in one solar units can fall short on the solar energy required to maintain the battery level from late fall to early spring due to shorter light days in higher latitude as well, trees, mountains, overcast sky and snow can all add insufficient solar energy capture. If you need to extend your All in one solar energizer into this period we recommended having a second battery you can swap and recharge to ensure the energizer battery doesn't go completely dead as this can cause damage to your energizer battery if discharged multiple times down below 20% of battery charge. Be sure to use an appropriate charger for the battery you are charging.
