Once your herd is collared, you log into the eShepherd app on your phone or computer and draw your grazing boundaries directly on a map. Paddock moves can be planned days in advance and set to happen automatically on a schedule, so your cattle shift to fresh grass without you driving out to move a single post. The collars guide cattle away from boundaries using a progressive audio warning, and animals adapt to the system quickly — meaning fewer corrections over time and a calmer, more settled herd. These use built-in cellular connectivity in each neckband to talk to the eShepherd cloud platform. They work where there’s at least basic cell signal (even 1–2 bars).
Even if cell signal is weak or absent, the LoRa base station option lets neckbands receive boundary updates and send status without each device depending on its own cellular connection, making eShepherd usable in more remote conditions.
